FunDay MonDay

This morning I was looking in my hallway linen closet to look for a refill of my face soap…While I was in there….Everything became so disorganized and cluttered that it just pissed me off. I have had it! Time to re-organize this closet.

Here is an article I found in Better Homes and Gardens that can help with you cluttered mess!

Good Morning! What a beautiful morning it is here in San Diego…going to be 95 degrees at our local beaches and 107 inland! WOW~ our summer came so late this year. Glad to see you.

4-Work zones

5- Walk-in pantries (wish I had enough room to create a walk-in pantry)

6- Save and splurge strategies (save here but splurge there)

7- technology

8- Eco-Friendly products

9- Integrated appliances

10- Layered lighting

Friday’s Found Fun

What time is it?

I am the type that always NEEDS to know what time it is. In my office, I have a clock on every wall. See, what did I tell you. Here are some weird, fun and even disturbing clocks.

Not Such a Mundane Monday

This morning, I guess I had an urge to dust my living room and noticed a HUGE pile of magazines that I had been stacking up. I am going through them and ripping anything out that I like, want to buy, want to make/bake/cook, or just love the inspiration. However, now that I am ripping these out, I have been stacking the ripped pages into yet another pile. Someday, i will get a binder and put all of these into categories and make my life easier to look through these piles.

Hawaiian style can be very over done. I have a client located in Northern California who has recently purchased a home. This client is originally from San Diego and loves the San Diego laid back lifestyle. They both loved the beach and the style it lends itself to.

here is an example of a home that lends itself to the style of ‘hawaiian’ but is overdone nor is it suggesting something else. The colors are great and fun and I love the area rug. Great inspiration.

I am in love with this eco-friendly room. The colors are just enough for interest. I am not so sure about that coffee table, however, I would have some serious issues trying to keep everything within a circle. Hello OCD!

What I would change: The coffee table (maybe something with hidden storage) and the wall color. Sherwin Williams Muslin color comes to mind.

ECO-Friendly

Happy Earth Day to all.

Home Cleaning

Many of you may already know that I am a CLEAN freak, and the rest of you now know. There is a place for everything and everything is in its place, that is my home motto. However, sometimes this can be very hard to control, especially when living with someone a little less anal retentive.

I have found some great resources for those other type ‘A’ personalities out there. And, these resources are totally eco friendly too. How great is that. Check out some of these sites for help with cleaning, organizing, products and more.
